Prosecuting Attorney, Tim Lohmar, leads a team of twenty-one attorneys and thirty-two supporting professionals who prosecute all violations of state criminal laws that occur in St. Charles County. Every year Tim's office handles about 2,500 reports of felony crimes, 1,800 reports of misdemeanor offenses and over 10,000 traffic violations in St. Charles County.
Tim is a lifelong resident of St. Charles County. He attended St. Charles West High School and graduated with a bachelor's degree and a law degree from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Tim began his legal career in private practice, but over the past dozen years Tim's career has focused more and more on public service. Tim was a prosecuting attorney for the cities of O'Fallon and St. Charles. He was the first municipal judge for St. Charles County, and in 2010 he was elected to the State court to serve as a trial judge in the 11th Judicial Circuit.
