Redaction Request Form


If you wish to request the redaction of your social security number from your recorded document, you must complete and submit the Redaction Request and Agreement Form (PDF).

Submit the completed and signed form either in person at the Recorder's Office or by mail to:

Request for Military Discharge Form


Military discharges recorded with Missouri Recorders of Deeds are restricted from public search. Therefore, they are not available for genealogy or other research purposes.

A copy or copies of military discharges are provided to a veteran or authorized party at no cost. St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds can only provide a copy or copies of military discharge papers recorded in St. Charles County between 1946 to present. If you recorded your Discharge papers with another Missouri county Recorder of Deeds or an Illinois Recorder of Deeds, you will need to contact that office for a copy.

Certificate of Value Form


At the same time as any deed or instrument providing for the transfer of title to real estate is presented to the Recorder of Deeds for recordation, there shall be filed with the Recorder of Deeds a certificate of value. The filed certificate of value shall be transmitted to the Assessor and retained by the Assessor for his reference. A copy of the filed certificate shall be returned to the grantee.

The certificate of value shall be executed by the grantee or grantees or his representative on forms approved and supplied without charge by the County Assessor. (OSCCMo 145.010)
