The Community Development Department is divided into three divisions: Building and Code Enforcement, Development Review, and Planning and Zoning. The divisions provide services relating to permitting and inspecting new construction, community planning, zoning and subdivision matters, neighborhood preservation inspections, and review and approval of development improvement plans. Public Notices:

In accordance with the Citizen Participation Plan, notice is hereby given that a preliminary draft of the FY16 Consolidated Annual Performance & Evaluation Report (CAPER) for the Community Development Block Grant for St. Charles County, Missouri, will be available for public comment during a 15-day period beginning Feb. 13, 2017. This report outlines CDBG expenditures between Jan. 1, 2016, and Dec. 31, 2016. The County is interested in obtaining public comment regarding projects and results in the draft report.

The County will hold a public hearing at St. Peters City Hall at 6 p.m. on Monday, March 13, located at 1 St. Peters Centre Blvd., St. Peters, MO 63376. All interested citizens will have the opportunity to give written and oral comments. Copies of the draft report will also be available for review and comment until 5 p.m. on Feb. 28, 2017, in the Community Development Office at the County Administration Building or on the County website. Comments may be submitted by email to rmyers@sccmo.org, by mail or in person (201 N. Second St., St. Charles, MO 63301). Comments must be received by 5 p.m. on Feb. 28.
