Tax Payment Website
You can pay online through our online bill pay website. All information provided by this online internet resource is subject to verification by the St. Charles County Collector's Office. Please note: To allow for processing and reconciliation of the previous month's payments, online payment services will not be available from 12:01 a.m. on the first day of each month until the third business day. Please allow 5 to 10 business days for the processing of the payment and the mailing of the paid tax receipt needed for license plate renewal.

Please note that payment for 2014 and prior taxes must be in the form of Cash, Cashier's Check, Money Order or Certified Funds.

Drop Box
The Drop Box is located on N. Second St. in St. Charles. It sits in front of the County Administration Building. Contents are removed daily. Paid receipts are mailed in 5 to 10 business days.

Payment for 2014 and prior taxes must be in the form of cash, cashier's check, money order or certified funds. Make all payments payable to: "Michelle D. McBride, Collector of Revenue".

Payments by Check, Money Order, Cashier’s Check, and Cash can be made in person at the Collector’s Office, located on the first floor of the County Administration Building. The Office is open Monday thru Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and does not close for lunch. Credit/Debit Card and eCheck Payments must be submitted online or thru the toll-free phone number – they are not accepted at the Cashier Windows.
