This process includes criminal background and reference checks. In addition, all candidates who are offered employment must successfully pass a drug screen within 3 days of offer (or as soon as administratively feasible).

St. Charles County posts job opportunities as they become available. These postings include a description of the job duties and responsibilities, normal starting salary, benefits, the requirements for applicants and usually a deadline for receipt of the application.

How to Apply
All applications must be submitted through the self-service website. We do not accept faxed, emailed or print applications. Terminals are available on site if needed in the Human Resources Department. Applications are accepted for current openings only. You may obtain updated information about these vacancies by visiting our job postings page.

Required Testing
Certain positions will require applicants to complete testing as part of the application process. If applicable, times, dates, location and requirements for any required testing will be listed on the specific application.

Please note that space for clerical testing fills up quickly when multiple clerical positions are posted simultaneously, and testing can sometimes take up to several hours. Prospective applicants are welcome to complete clerical tests even when there is not an advertised clerical position available, and clerical testing scores will remain on file for 2 years.
