The State of Missouri has a fund to reimburse residents who have suffered injuries causing financial loss due to certain crimes of violence.
This program is administered by the Crime Victim's Compensation Unit of the Division of Worker's Compensation.
A claim may be filed for out-of-pocket expenses only. The following expenses are covered by our program:

Victims of Crime Notification Program
The Missouri Constitutional Amendment automatically affords to victims of dangerous felonies, and, upon written request, shall be afforded to victims of all other crimes and witnesses of crimes:
The right to be present at all criminal justice proceedings at which the defendant has such the right, including juvenile proceedings where the offense would have been a felony if committed by an adult
The right to information about the crime
The right to be informed by the Prosecutor's Office of the filing of charges, preliminary hearing dates, trial dates, continuances and the final disposition of the case
