Celebrate 20 Years with County Parks in 2017

I am excited to congratulate the St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department on celebrating 20 remarkable years in 2017. It is amazing to see how our parks system has grown. There is a park for everyone – and there is always something to do! I hope you saw the article earlier in this newsletter about the Daniel Boone Home Brew Fest and Total Eclipse in the Park - I’d also like to share with you some other exciting events coming up this spring and summer.

Health Department Set to Expand Services for Travellers

Are you or anyone in your family, business or organization planning to travel out of the country in the New Year? Whether you’re going on a vacation, business or mission trip, a passport is required for all travel outside the United States - and you may need specific vaccinations to protect your health in some locations. You may already be aware that you can obtain certified copies of birth records through the Department of Community Health and the Environment, but soon you’ll also be able to apply for a passport and obtain travel vaccinations at the facility.
