Using the COVID-19 Dashboards

The dashboards below provide viewers with information collected by the St. Charles County Department of Public Health. To better understand what information is available and how to navigate the data sets, watch this tutorial. To extend to full screen, click the arrows at the bottom right of each dashboard.

Effective Jan. 11, 2021
The Department of Public Health dashboard now lists total confirmed case and total probable case data, along with data from various types of testing methods.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

  • A confirmed case involves laboratory proof through a positive PCR or Rapid Amplification test.
  • A probable case contains either symptoms and close contact linkage or a positive antigen test.

To provide a clearer, more accurate view of the COVID-19 impact in our community, the Department of Public Health now reports positive cases by the date testing occurred, with a five-day reporting delay included to account for department notification.

Please note that all data reported within the first 72 hours is provisional and subject to change as additional information is collected.

Effective Nov. 5, 2021
Information supplied to the Department of Public Health dashboard will be updated Monday-Friday.

Please Note: Due to the change in the quarantine and release notification protocols announced on Nov. 25, 2020, the Department of Public Health will no longer include the number of individuals currently under quarantine/released from quarantine or the school-linked contacts/transmission charts on the COVID-19 update or website.
