Forestwood Lane Road Improvement NID
The Forestwood Lane Road Neighborhood Improvement District (NID) is a proposal to widen and upgrade approximately 750 ft./1,800 sq. yd. of private street serving five properties to public street standards. The new public street would serve the properties at 713, 715, 716, 717, and 718 Forestwood Lane. The St. Charles County Highway Department will be the agency responsible for maintaining the street.
Updated 2/1/2022 The consulting engineer has completed preliminary design plans for the project and staff is working with them to complete the preliminary design. Once the preliminary design plans are complete, NID property owners and the owners at 711 Forestwood Lane will be contacted to participate in a workshop to review the plans and make any comments concerning the design. Easements and right-of-way will need to be obtained from NID properties and from the property at 711 Forestwood Lane. Property owners will be contacted in writing for a donation of right-of-way and easements after our consultant has determined these needs and the documents have been created for them. Once the design is finalized and public right-of-way and easements have been acquired, the project will be ready to be advertised for construction bids. |
