The project involves the replacement of a deficient steel girder bridge on Femme Osage Creek Road over a tributary to Femme Osage Creek, located 0.1 miles east of Becker-Joerling Road. Proposed improvements include:
- New widener structure to provide for 12-foot lanes and 4-foot shoulders.
- Realignment to allow old bridge to remain in place while new structure is constructed.
The project is funded by St. Charles County’s ½-cent Transportation Sales Tax and with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Surface Transportation Program-Suballocated (STP-S) funding. The project is estimated to cost approximately $760,000.
