This project involves improvements to West Meyer Road from Highway W east of Duenke Road to bridge over McCoy Creek. Proposed improvements include:
Widen existing roadway of West Meyer Road to increase safety along the roadway.
Widen 5-feet on both sides of the road to provide for 12-foot lanes with 4-foot shoulders.
Overlay entire roadway to preserve the existing pavement.
The project is funded by St. Charles County’s ½-cent Transportation Sales Tax and with Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Surface Transportation Program-Suballocated (STP-S) funding. The project is estimated to cost approximately $3.5M.

This project was recently recommended for funding and is listed on St. Charles County’s Transportation Improvement Plan (TIP) 2022-2024. Design will begin in 2022 and Construction is scheduled for 2025. The consultant has finished field surveys and just submitted the Traffic Circulation Report. The next step will be completion of Conceptual Plans.
