The St. Charles County Sheriff's Department Citizen Police Academy 2.0 is designed to provide participants with a look into the law enforcement and justice process in St. Charles County—from the Sheriff's Department role to Courts to Corrections. Citizens accepted into the program will participate in a variety of sessions covering the Sheriff's Office, Department of Corrections, 11th Judicial Circuit Court, Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Public Defender, Probation and Parole, Juvenile Justice, a tour of the Missouri Supreme Court, and more.
The free 12-week program will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Tuesdays, March 14-May 30, 2023. To be considered for participation, applicants must satisfy the following requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age and a resident of St. Charles County
Possess a valid Missouri driver’s license
Satisfactorily complete a background check
Must have previously completed a Citizen Police Academy program in St. Charles County
