"One Stop" Development Assistance Program

About the Program

This recently expanded initiative is designed to provide support to any citizen or business interested in developing property for a commercial, industrial or institutional project in the unincorporated areas of St. Charles County. This informal meeting is optional, but is intended to help identify concerns or answer questions before the permit or development review process begins.

The program is designed to allow the property owner, developer or builder and County staff the opportunity to discuss development concepts, identify process requirements and regulatory issues, explore solutions to potential problems, and to determine the most efficient and time-sensitive manner to formally review plans for approval. The goal is to save applicants time and money by increasing understanding of the process and requirements before permits and/or plans are submitted.

At One Stop meetings, County staff work with the property owner, developer or builder onsite or in County offices. Staff from private utilities and other governmental agencies also can attend upon request.

For additional information or to make an appointment, please contact the Planning & Zoning Division at 636-949-7335 or planning@sccmo.org.
