More than 60 4th graders from eight county schools participated. Students were asked to illustrate this year’s theme: One Water.

They were asked to consider these points:

  • The world has one well. Earth’s hydrologic processes recycle the same water over and over.
  • We all live in a watershed. Water runs off the land and can carry pollutants to streams, rivers and oceans.
  • We need water to live.
  • All of us can help protect water.
