The County’s Minor Subdivision platting process is intended to provide an expedited process for the division of land into lots of five acres or greater in size, provided the land is located within Agricultural or Single-Family Residential zoning districts, and is located outside of any existing subdivision. Minor subdivision plats are reviewed and approved by County staff, rather than the Planning and Zoning Commission, and once approved must be recorded with the County Recorder of Deeds office.
Fees
Complete applications must include payment of the fee specified in Section 405.020.H of the Unified Development Ordinance.
