What's New
The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department offers unique parks, diverse facilities and a broad range of programs and special events for all ages to enjoy, in addition to features that enhance the region's historical and natural environmental heritage. A number of amenities are available for use by groups, families, and individuals at each of the St. Charles County parks. Included in this are picnic shelters, camping facilities, and indoor lodges that can host weddings, family functions, and business conferences.
Discover all the exciting amenities this 120-acre park has to offer, including a destination playground for children of all abilities, a walking and biking trail system, fishing lakes, a dog park, play fields, and more!
Photography and Drone Policy/Special Authorization Form
Professional photographers seeking to take portraits, group photos, or conducting a photography project for a profit should review St. Charles County Parks' Professional Photography Policy (PDF) and complete a request using the Application for Special Use/Professional Photography Permit (PDF). The Special Use Permit named in the policy has been superseded by the Special Authorization Form.
Unmanned Aircraft Systems and drones are only allowed in the Youth Activity Park. Users should refer to the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Policy (PDF) and submit this Special Use form (PDF) prior to using these devices. Additionally, users should read the YAP flying field rules (PDF).
