The Municipal Court is open to the public to process filings and accept fine payments. Defendants are strongly encouraged to continue paying fines online through Traffic Payment or Missouri Case.net, or by phone at 800-444-1187. The St. Charles County Municipal Division is now participating in the Missouri Efiling system.
Information regarding court dates is available online at Missouri Case.net. Please do not arrive for your court date earlier or later than the time assigned. Arriving early or late may require you to wait outside the building or at an alternative location. If possible, please do not bring others into court with you.
Effective March 1, 2023 – the following will be required to qualify for a virtual hearing
- The defendant must reside outside a distance of 75 miles from St. Charles County.
- The defendant has a disability that will prevent the defendant from appearing in court in person.
- The defendant has a serious medical condition such the defendant is unable to appear in court in person.
The court complete discretion in determining whether to permit a defendant to appear by virtual hearing. See attached court order for further information pertaining to the change in virtual hearings.

Court is normally held on the second to last or last Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 6 p.m., and the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 9 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. or 2 p.m.
Please note that the court is closed for lunch 12-1 p.m., Monday-Friday.
