Visitors to County buildings are required to review a health screening checklist before entering and are encouraged to wear face coverings. Those with COVID-19 symptoms and/or known exposure to someone diagnosed with COVID-19 within the past 14 days should remain at home. The public is strongly encouraged to continue accessing County Government services by phone, email and online when available.
The St. Charles County Department of Facilities Management works to protect, safeguard and maintain all county buildings, building systems, grounds and capital investments of St. Charles County taxpayers. We do this through an efficient maintenance work order system, performing routine and preventative maintenance on all building systems and grounds, continually monitoring expenditures, and investing in energy saving equipment with a high return on investment.
In addition, the department continually expands employee training programs, maintains a professional work environment, and ensures professional building aesthetics while providing a safe environment for all employees, patrons and citizens alike. Facilities Management maintains 760,000 sq. ft. of County buildings.
