Job Posting Information

St. Charles County posts job opportunities as they become available. These postings include a description of job duties and responsibilities, normal starting salary, benefits, the requirements for applicants and usually a deadline for receipt of the application.

Please note that application deadlines are sometimes subject to change to meet the demands of a particular hiring department. We recommend submitting applications promptly, and checking the website frequently for new opportunities and updates.

How to Apply

All applications must be submitted through the self-service website. We do not accept faxed, emailed or print applications. Terminals are available on-site in the Human Resources Department if needed. Applications are accepted for current openings only. Updated information about these vacancies is available on our Careers page.

Required Testing

Certain positions require applicants to complete testing as part of the application process. If applicable, times, dates, location and requirements for any required testing will be listed on the specific job posting.

Please note that space for clerical testing fills up quickly when multiple clerical positions are posted simultaneously, and testing can sometimes take up to several hours. Prospective applicants are welcome to complete clerical tests even when there is not an advertised clerical position available, and clerical testing scores will remain on file for two years. Call Human Resources at 636-949-7320 to schedule a time to complete clerical testing.
