  3. Recertification - Adult, Child and Infant First Aid, CPR and AED Training Update

    February 21, 2019, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Public Health

    For those who have a current 2-year CPR certification nearing expiration, this short training will refresh knowledge of the proper procedures for basic First Aid, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED devices). Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive an American Red Cross certification that is valid for two years. Class is limited to the first 20 registered participants.

  5. MRC Membership Meeting and Training

    In times of need, many lend their neighbors a helping hand. St. Charles County's Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer-based unit or medically trained and non-medical professionals alike who put their knowledge and skills to use in helping our community. The Department of Public Health sponsors the local MRC unit. Monthly meetings are designed to prepare members for all-hazard emergencies. Discussions include the various roles within the County's emergency response plan, hands-on training opportunities and advanced certifications. Membership is open to any individual, ages 18 or older.

  6. CLOCK HOUR CLASS - My Plate

    Child Care providers will be able to use My Plate to plan meals and help children identify healthy foods and portions. Successful completion of this class will earn attendees 2 Clock Hour credits. You must register online at www.moworkshopcalendar.org prior to attendance. Per Missouri Department of Health guidelines, children, ages 16 and under, are not allowed to attend this training.
