CLOCK HOUR CLASS - Safe Sleep, Trauma and Mandated Reporting

Class will define Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS), identify behaviors that increase the risk of SIDS and discuss common myths about SIDS. Child Care providers will learn how to identify the signs and symptoms of shaken baby/abusive head trauma and prevention strategies for shaken baby. They will also learn their role in mandatory reporting including identifying abuse/neglect, prevention, and reporting. Successful completion of this class will earn attendees 2 Clock Hour credits. You must register online at www.moworkshopcalendar.org prior to attendance. Per Missouri Department of Health guidelines, children, ages 16 and under, are not allowed to attend this training.
