Public Comment Period: Proposed Stormwater Management Plan to Address Missouri Department of Natural Resources 2021-2026 MS4 Stormwater Discharge Permit

The St. Charles County Community Development Department is seeking comments on the County’s draft Stormwater Management Plan (SWMP) to address stormwater management issues within the unincorporated county and to address the requirements of the federal Clean Water Act and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources’ (MDNR) 2021-2026 MS4 Stormwater Discharge Permit. The MDNR 2021-26 MS4 Permit, the draft SWMP, and supplemental documents to the SWMP, including “Appendix A, BMP Measurable Goals” can be found on the County’s MS4 Stormwater Permit/Plan webpage.

The public comment period is Feb. 19-March 26, 2021. Written comments may be submitted by email to development@sccmo.org and/or by mail to the St. Charles County Community Development Department, 210 N. Second Street, Room 410, St. Charles, MO 63301.
