ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MISSOURI- THE OFFICE OF PROSECUTING ATTORNEY TIM LOHMAR announces that William Thomas Wilburn, 48, of St. Charles, was sentenced by the Honorable Ted House to life in prison on each of the three counts of statutory sodomy 1st degree, life in prison for one count of statutory rape 1st degree and 15 years for distributing a controlled substance to a minor. All counts are to be run concurrently for a sentence of life.

Charges arose in May 2013 when Wilburn contacted a St. Louis County minor less than 14 years of age via a telephone chat service and brought the minor to his home in St. Charles where the above offenses were perpetrated. Wilburn is already a registered sex offender and plead guilty in 2007 to statutory rape 2nd degree and statutory sodomy 2nd degree in St. Francois County.

“This man is a sexual predator, and this community is safer now that he’ll be behind bars for life.” said Prosecutor Tim Lohmar.
