St. Charles County, Missouri – On your mark, get ready, let's go to the 5th annual Flint Ridge Trail Run on Saturday, Sept. 29, at Indian Camp Creek Park near Wentzville! This exciting race begins at 9 a.m., kicks off the Big River Trail Series, and offers prizes, a commemorative Flint Ridge short sleeve tech shirt, on-course hydration, finisher photo and video, mobile running tracking, live onsite results and a rockin’ Big River Post-Race Party featuring complementary music, BBQ and drinks!
At the Flint Ridge Trail Run, participants can choose to compete in the 4- or 10-mile race. Awards will be presented to the top three runners in each age division and the top overall male and female finishers in each race will receive a pair of Brooks trail running shoes!
Runners who compete in the 10-mile Flint Ridge Race and a combination of any two additional races in the series can compete for series points and the top scorers win prizes! Races in the series include: Flint Ridge Trail 10-mile, Skippo 10k, Skippo 20k or 30k, and the Castlewood Cup 15k.
Indian Camp Creek Park is located at 2679 Dietrich Road near Wentzville. The 4-mile race is $39 per runner and the 10-mile race is $54 per runner. Pre-race packet pickup is Thursday, Sept. 27 from 4-7 p.m. at the Big River Running Store located at 13969 Manchester Road near Town and Country.
