April 16, 2019
St. Charles County, Missouri – A Public Open House hosted by St. Charles County, the City of Wentzville, and the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) regarding improvements along U.S. 61 will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at Wentzville City Hall, 1001 Schroeder Creek Blvd., Wentzville.
Attendees will have the opportunity to provide input on the following conceptual improvements:
- Proposed outer roads along the U.S. 61 corridor between the St. Charles County/Lincoln County line and Wentzville Parkway.
- Additional access improvements along U.S. 61 from the St. Charles County/Lincoln County line to the interchange at Route P. Proposed concepts include an interchange at Route W and modifications to the Route P interchange, as well as other potential access modifications throughout the corridor.
Staff from St. Charles County, the City of Wentzville, and MoDOT will be available to discuss the conceptual improvements and answer questions. These projects currently are unfunded; however, as St. Charles County and the City of Wentzville begin work with MoDOT to identify funding sources, it is important that the needs and wishes of the community are represented and understood.
