On Friday, May 29, the County Administration Building, 201 N. Second St., the Department of Public Health, 1650 Boone’s Lick Rd., both in St. Charles; and the St. Charles County Police Department, 101 Sheriff Dierker Ct., O’Fallon, are reopening with modifications to access and services. Remaining County buildings, including Courts, are scheduled to reopen Monday, June 1.

County Buildings and Facilities Information (as of May 20, 2020)

  • Administration Building at 201 N. Second St. in St. Charles - reopens May 29, 2020
  • County Parks (updated May 20, 2020)
    Effective Monday, May 4, 2020, the St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department began to roll back restrictions. While parks remain open for outdoor recreation, guests are required to continue to follow social distancing and CDC guidelines to prevent the spread of COVID-19. Restrooms, camping, cabins and group camping are now open to the public. Shelter and indoor facility rentals resume with restrictions—online reservations are limited to individual campsite and cabin registrations only; shelter, indoor facility and group camping reservations must be made by calling our office at 636-949-7535. The Heritage Museum has opened, limited tours of The Historic Daniel Boone Home are available, park programs have resumed, and Paddle Share Rentals have officially opened. The Youth Activity Park will open to the public Monday, June 1. Dog parks and playgrounds remain closed. Parks administrative offices at 201 N. Second Street in St. Charles will reopen to the public May 29.
  • County Police Department at 101 Sheriff Dierker Ct. in O’Fallon - reopens May 29, 2020
    Before May 29: The In-House officer is available for questions. Records, concealed carry weapon (CCW) permits, evidence viewing, and property retrieval are closed. Fingerprinting is available only on Wednesdays from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
    As of May 29, the Police Department will reopen with normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Fingerprinting will resume from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, for CCW (carrying a concealed weapon) licensing and sex offender registration.     UPDATE 4.6.20: Pursuant to Missouri Governor Michael Parson’s Executive Order 20-07, all penalties for late renewal applications for concealed carry permits are waived until June 1, 2020.
    UPDATE 4.3.20: In response to the evolving COVID-19 pandemic, effective Monday, April 6, the St. Charles County Police Department will suspend in-person sex offender registration. Registrants are required to call 636-949-3000, ext. 4451 or 636-949-3016 to complete their check-in or new registration. This operational change will be in effect until further notice.
  • Department of Public Health at 1650 Boone’s Lick in St. Charles - reopens May 29, 2020
    As of May 29, the Health Services Division of the Department of Public Health will resume some in-person services during normal business hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, however, these services will be modified to protect employees and visitors. Services for WIC, vital records and passports will be offered during regular operating hours, but sexually transmitted disease testing will be by appointment only. The Immunization Clinic will remain closed but will resume revised services at a later date. Environmental Health inspectors are monitoring businesses for social distancing so routine inspections have not yet resumed.
  • Executive Building/Historic Courthouse at 100 N. Third St. in St. Charles - reopens June 1, 2020
  • Family Arena box office at 2002 Arena Pkwy. in St. Charles - reopens June 1, 2020
  • Highway Department at 301 N. Third St. in St. Charles - reopens June 1, 2020
  • Juvenile Justice Center at 1700 S. River Rd. in St. Charles - reopens June 1, 2020
  • Municipal Court at 399 Turner Blvd. in St. Charles - reopens June 1, 2020
    UPDATED 4.20.20: The court has suspended all court sessions until May 15. The court will notify any defendant that is currently scheduled for a suspended court session via U.S. Mail of rescheduled court dates.   • Pet Adoption Center at 4850 Mid Rivers Mall Dr. in St. Peters
    The Pet Adoption Center continues to offer animals for adoption which can be viewed online at sccmo.org/Pets; appointments can be made to view adoptable animals. Animal Control officers are working in the community.
  • Recycle Works Centers at 60 Triad South Dr. in St. Charles and 2110 E. Pitman Ave. in Wentzville
    Both centers remain open; however, the offices are closed to the public. Items that require payment or help to unload will NOT be accepted; this includes televisions, computers, miscellaneous electronics, bulbs, appliances, and Household Hazardous Waste. Recyclables still accepted at both facilities include paper, cardboard, plastic, tin, aluminum, clothing, oil, antifreeze, cooking oil, and Recycle Works West accepts glass. 
  • Corrections (County Jail) at 301 N. Second St. in St. Charles 
    Closed to the public as of 7 a.m. on Thursday, March 26, until further notice. The lobby will not be accessible for video visitation or Jail ATM services. Inmate visits were suspended March 16. Attorney visits with inmates will continue to be permitted; however, the location, days and times may be modified from the current procedures. These modifications will be determined by the Director of Corrections. Families can visit https://www.sccmo.org/Corrections for more information on how to access Jail ATM for bail, inmate account deposits, and video chat services.   • Election Authority at 397 Turner Blvd. in St. Peters 
    Office remains open for essential services, including absentee voting, candidate filing, and voter registration.
  • Missouri Job Center/Workforce and Business Development at 212 Turner Blvd. in St. Peters - reopens June 1, 2020 
    The center closed to the public on Friday, March 20, 2020. The center continues to be staffed. Signs have been posted on the doors directing customers to call 1-888-728-JOBS (5627) or locally, 636-255-6060, or go online to https://www.jobs.mo.gov to access resources until further notice.
  • Prosecuting Attorney, Public Administrator and Public Defender at 300 N. Second St. in St. Charles - reopens June 1, 2020
