St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces that Earl Cox, 63, of St. Ann, was sentenced to life in prison on August 20, 2020. Cox will serve this time in the Missouri Department of Corrections.
Cox plead guilty to the abduction of Angie Housman on November 18, 1993 in St. Ann, MO. Cox transported the victim to St. Charles County where he held and sexually assaulted her for several days. Cox then transported her to Busch Wildlife in the area of Highway 94 where he bound her to a tree and she later died of exposure due to the frigid November air. Housman was discovered on November 27, 1993 covered in snow.
The sentence was handed down by the Honorable Jon Cunningham.
