St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department is announcing the temporary closure of a portion of Cappeln Osage Road, immediately south of Femme Osage Creek Road and 0.7 miles from Highway T, beginning Wednesday, February 18, 2015, to allow for construction of a new bridge. The construction of this bridge is expected to take 45 days.
No through traffic will be allowed through the closure area. Motorists will be directed to use Highway T and Femme Osage Creek Road to detour around the closure area. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and detour route will be posted.
This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the traveling public.
