St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces that charges have been filed against Travon Johnson, 21, of St. Louis, Melech Porter, 17, of St. Louis, and Wardell Davison, 21, of St. Louis for Murder 2nd degree, Robbery 1st degree and armed criminal action. Dennis Baker, 23, of St. Louis, and Lamont Ware, 21, of St. Louis are charged with Robbery 1st degree.
Charges arouse on February 9, 2015 when the individuals drove to Crestview apartments on Ameristar Blvd in St. Charles and allegedly committed a robbery that resulted in the shooting death of the victim. He was pronounced dead at the hospital from a gunshot wound.
The defendants are currently being held in St. Charles City. Porter, Johnson and Davison are being held on $250,000 cash only bond. Baker and Ware are being held on $200,000 cash only bond.
