[ARCHIVED] Wolfrum Road to Close South of Cedar Junction Lane for Culvert Replacement March 1-5

St. Charles County, Missouri ­– The St. Charles County Highway Department, at the request of the City of Weldon Spring, will close Wolfrum Road immediately south of Cedar Junction Lane for approximately five days starting Monday, March 1, 2021, to allow for removal and replacement of a deteriorated culvert.

Traffic will be required to use an alternate route around the closure between 9 a.m., Monday, March 1, and 3:30 p.m., Friday, March 5, while the culvert is replaced. Local traffic will be able to access either side of the closure location, but no through traffic will be permitted. The detour route includes Patriotic Trail from Wolfrum Road to Independence Road, and Independence Road from Patriotic Trail to Wolfrum Road. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and necessary detours will be posted. All work is weather permitting.

This road project is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the County’s road system for the safety of the travelling public.
