St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar in partnership with The Child Center, Inc., is pleased to announce the 2015 Midwest Justice for Children Conference being held April 1-3 at Ameristar Casino, Resort & Spa. This event is also made possible with funds from Missouri Task Force on Children’s Justice as well as Midwest Regional Children’s Advocacy Centers. It is a top priority in our office to ensure we train and empower our community partners by holding conferences such as these.
We are happy to report that over 300 professionals who focus on children and their protection and wellness will be in attendance. The conference will provide opportunities for discussion and collaboration, promote partnerships among agencies, increase understanding of issues, developing strategies to address issues and establish a coordinated community response for crimes against children.
It gives me great gratification to report that St. Charles County is serious and aggressive in its willingness to protect and serve its children. We are fortunate to live in a community that takes this serious and provides so many resources.
