June 3, 2021 | Immunization Clinic Offers COVID Vaccine Appointments on Fridays

St. Charles County’s Immunization Clinic now administers the Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID vaccines by appointment on Fridays. Appointments are available from 9 a.m. to noon and 1-4 p.m. for first or second doses of these vaccines. Vaccines are available at no charge to the individual.

Individuals ages 12 and older (for the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine) or 18 and older (for the Moderna or Janssen vaccine) may schedule a convenient appointment by calling 636-949-1899 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mon-Fri. Individuals ages 12-17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the vaccination appointment.

The Immunization Clinic is located at 1650 Boone's Lick Road in St. Charles.

The Janssen vaccine is a one-dose regimen, but two doses of the Moderna and Pfizer/BioNTech vaccines are necessary for maximum protection against the virus. Individuals should expect to receive this second dose approximately 21 days after the first dose for the Pfizer/BioNTech product or 28 days later for the Moderna product. The Immunization Clinic can schedule the second dose appointment at the time of the first dose, or individuals can obtain this vaccination through other providers.
