We’ve Got a Speaker for You!

Request A Speaker

If your neighborhood or business association, civic group, church, or community organization needs a speaker for a meeting, look no further than St. Charles County Government. The County’s Request a Speaker program provides experts on a variety of topics to give engaging presentations tailored to meet your needs.

“The goal of our program is to educate and make County Government accessible to the community,” explains Molly Dempsey, Community Relations Manager and coordinator of the Request a Speaker program. “Even during the height of the pandemic, we continued to do virtual presentations on a number of subjects—from COVID-19 and vaccinations to public safety, parks, elections, history and more.”

Presentations can be customized to meet the needs of a group, and can be offered in person or in a virtual environment. “For example, emergency preparedness and first aid and CPR can be geared toward the needs of families and presented to parent groups, and a recycling presentation or online safety presentation can be customized for children or teen clubs,” says Dempsey.
