St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar welcomed the Orchard Farm School District Gifted Program (C.A.T.S.) grades one thru eight to the St. Charles County Courthouse for a mock trial. The participants, led by teacher Mrs. Heather Hinze, were a jury to a full mock trial. The students experienced all aspects of trial including jury selection, opening statements, witness examination, evidence presented by both Prosecution and Defense and closing arguments. The jury then deliberated and handed down a verdict.
