St. Charles County, Missouri- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces their support for crime victims in the community during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week. During National Crime Victims’ Rights Week, St. Charles Community College hosted a tree planting ceremony on April 20th. The ceremony is sponsored by the college, the Missouri Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators, Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), Missouri Department of Corrections—Probation & Parole, the Tri-County Citizens Advisory Board to Probation and Parole, as well as the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office. The annual event seeks to honor crime victims in our community including those who died as a result of the crimes.
The St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s office has five victim advocates who offer education, advocacy, support, and courtroom escorts for victims. You can learn more about the victim services offered by our office on our website.
