The County website, sccmo.org, has a new look! Overall, access, links and functionality remain the same, but the appearance and colors are refreshed for a cleaner, easier-to-use site.

VIEW AN INFORMATIVE GIS MAP
St. Charles County’s Geographic Information Systems (GIS) map provides a broad array of information, including:
- Boundary line, sales history and assessed value of every property
- Current and future road construction project locations
- Public parks and walking trails
- Topographical details
APPLY FOR PERMITS
The CitizenServe system houses applications for building permits and other types of licenses required for safety, health, and sanitation purposes.
VIEW CURRENT AND FUTURE ROAD PROJECTS
St. Charles County has a robust transportation improvement plan funded by the County’s voter-approved ½-cent Transportation Sales Tax, as well as local municipalities and outside grant funding. View detailed information about more than 60 current and future projects that are part of this multi-year plan.
RENT A KAYAK OR PADDLEBOARD
The St. Charles County Parks Department provides self-serve watercraft rentals at five locations, allowing customers to reserve a kayak or stand-up paddleboard. Reservations and payment are handled completely online, and every watercraft comes with a paddle and a life jacket.
CHECK SNOWPLOW PROGRESS
When winter weather strikes, view a real-time snowplow map to check the status of roads maintained by the County Highway Department. This map uses GPS devices on County plow trucks to track where they’ve been, color coding each road to show how long it’s been since the road was serviced.
APPLY FOR A MARRIAGE LICENSE
The St. Charles County Recorder of Deeds offers a completely online application process for marriage licenses. The office is one of two in Missouri that is testing this new application method.
READ TWICE-WEEKLY EMERGENCY FORECASTING REPORTS
St. Charles County Regional Emergency Management (REM) maintains an online Situation Report, updated twice weekly or more frequently during emergencies. The SitRep provides details including weather and flooding forecasts, power outages, road conditions, and other relevant information being tracked by REM.
REQUEST MOSQUITO CONTROL TREATMENT
The St. Charles County Mosquito Control Program assists area municipalities and residents in reducing the mosquito population in our community and decreasing the risk of mosquito-borne disease. The program, a service of the Department of Public Health’s Environmental Health and Protection Division, seeks out and eliminates mosquito breeding sites and uses biological controls or insecticides.
