Every hour of every day, public health activities influence our lives.
The St. Charles County Department of Community Health and the Environment works with many health-focused organizations to keep our community atop Missouri's list of the state's healthiest counties. The department's programs address a wide range of issues that promote health education and prevent illnesses in everyone from unborn babies to older adults. Through the efforts of its three divisions - Public Health, Environmental Public Health and Protection, and Humane Services - the department protects the people and businesses within our community.
To help match department services with the needs and wants of residents, it issues a Community Health Assessment survey every few years. Questions on this survey relate to the availability of health resources in our community, and they identify threats or trends that may affect you, your family and those you hold dear.
This survey will be available through the end of 2015, and we welcome community input. All responses will be gathered and organized into a collective report that will be shared on this website and elsewhere in our region sometime in early 2016.
Your thoughtful responses are greatly appreciated.
