St. Charles County, Missouri – Serco, the federal contractor operating a customer service center for the national health benefit exchanges in Wentzville, was honored recently by the St. Charles County Workforce Development Board for hiring approximately 400 new, full-time administrative workers.
The company worked in partnership with the Missouri Job Center of St. Charles County to hold a series of recruiting events in April and May, attracting more than 600 applicants for entry-level administrative positions.
“Serco has been a growing presence in St. Charles County since their arrival in 2013, and the Missouri Job Center has been pleased to work closely with them from day one,” said Luanne Cundiff, chair of the St. Charles County Workforce Development Board and president of First State Bank of St. Charles. “Not only is Serco a great employer, but the company’s competitive wages and benefits have been a welcome influence on the local economy in this new era of full employment.”
