[ARCHIVED] Jagels sentenced to 22 years for Statutory Sodomy

ST. CHARLES COUNTY, MISSOURI- The Office of Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar announces that John Thomas Jagels, 33, of St. Charles, plead guilty to two counts statutory sodomy 2nd, one count promoting child pornography, one count statutory rape 2nd and one count possession of child pornography. Jagels was sentenced to seven years for each count of statutory sodomy 2nd, promoting child pornography and statutory rape 2nd and 15 years for the possession of child pornography. The seven and fifteen years will run concurrent.

Charges arose in May of 2015 when Jagels victimized a child under the age of 17 along with his wife, Nichole Jagels, in their home in St. Charles.

The sentence was handed down by the Honorable Daniel Pelikan.
