St. Charles County, Missouri – Due to hazardous weather conditions predicted over the next several days, the Fall Harvest Festival at Towne Park has been canceled this weekend. For the safety of all citizens, the St. Charles County Parks Department has made the decision to cancel the event scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Towne Park, located at 100 Towne Park Drive, Foristell, MO 63348.

“With the National Weather Service St. Louis Forecast Office issuing a flash flood watch in effect until Saturday and predicting thunderstorms that could produce up to four inches of rainfall in the area, it is necessary to cancel the event,” said St. Charles County Parks Director Bettie Yahn-Kramer. “These severe weather conditions forecasted through Saturday not only pose a threat to our guests, but to park property.”

The Fall Harvest Festival will not be rescheduled, but for more information about upcoming park programs and special events, please visit www.stccpark.org or contact the department at 636.949.7535.
