[ARCHIVED] Rescheduled: Closure of Femme Osage Creek Road for Bridge Replacement to Begin Oct. 15

St. Charles County, Missouri – The St. Charles County Highway Department has rescheduled the temporary closure of Femme Osage Creek Road, 0.1 miles west of Highway F, to allow for construction of a new bridge. The closure will begin on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014. The construction of this bridge is expected to take 45 days.

No through traffic will be allowed through the closure area starting Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014. Motorists will be directed to use Highway F, Highway D, Cappeln Osage Road, Brandt Lane and Becker-Joerling Road to detour around the closure area. Signs notifying motorists of the closure and detour route will be posted.

This construction is part of a continuing effort by St. Charles County Government to improve the county’s road system for the safety of the community.
