[ARCHIVED] Veterans Day Program Set for Nov. 11 Moved to St. Charles County Administration Building

St. Charles County, Missouri – Due to forecasted cold temperatures, the annual Veterans Day Program will be held indoors at the St. Charles County Administration Building, 201 N. Second Street in St. Charles. The event is scheduled for 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, in the building’s room 115/116. The event is free and open to the public.

The program is organized by the St. Charles County Veterans Committee and the St. Charles City Veterans Commission. Master of Ceremonies Jerry Bradley of Marine Corps League Detachment 725 will lead the program, which includes music by the St. Charles Municipal Band and welcome addresses from Steve Ehlmann, St. Charles County Executive, and Sally Faith, Mayor of the City of St. Charles. This year’s guest speaker is George D. Newell of the St. Charles County Veterans Committee. Local veterans’ organizations will participate in the presentation of colors and wreath-laying ceremonies during the program.
