[ARCHIVED] PLEASE BE AWARE: Pet Adoption Center Remodel Begins March 4

Please Be Aware:
Volunteers with dog

Beginning March 4, the Pet Adoption Center dog kennel rooms will undergo a remodel to make them more inviting for our guests and even more comfortable for the animals in our care. We anticipate the construction to take approximately one month to complete and look forward to unveiling our updated kennels to you this spring.

This remodel will update the kennel rooms from floor to ceiling, which will require some flexibility on everyone’s part. Most of the dogs we have available for adoption will be housed away from our facility by foster parents and other area partners to minimize disruption, but all of our animals will continue to receive superior care during this transition. Individuals wishing to view the animals that remain at the Pet Adoption Center should be prepared to use a temporary entrance to our dog areas (guests can walk to this section after checking into our main entrance that faces Mid Rivers Mall Drive).

As always, you may view photos and videos of our animals currently available for adoption by visiting www.sccmo.org/pets. If you have questions, please call us at 636-949-7387.
