4. Your Transportation Dollars in Motion

In December 2021, St. Charles County residents received an informational mailer from County government detailing the history of the County’s ½-cent Transportation Sales Tax. This tax was first enacted by voters in 1985, and the county has benefitted from more than $1 billion in public transportation improvements and has built or improved 1,110 miles of St. Charles County roads over the past 36 years...MORE

5. Heritage Museum Closes to Prepare for New Exhibit

The St. Charles County Heritage Museum in St. Charles has temporarily closed its doors, but the public can look forward to a big celebration when it reopens with a new and exciting exhibit, “The American Revolutionary War in the West.” Scheduled to debut on May 21, this will be the first time the exhibit has ever been on display...MORE

St. Charles County and the City of O’Fallon have been granted HOME-ARP funds to reduce homelessness and provide housing stability across the county. To determine how best to create programs and allocate funds, please provide your feedback in the Community Needs Ranking Survey by March 15.

In recognition of Women’s History Month, the St. Charles County Police Department is hosting a special Lunch & Learn discussion about women in law enforcement.
