Know Trail Etiquette before you ride or walk in the parks.

Know Trail Rules & Etiquette

The St. Charles County Parks Department builds and maintains more than 41 miles of trails for visitors to enjoy throughout its many parks. There are 3 types of trails that are featured within the parks system: paved, hiking and biking, and multi-use, so it’s important to know trail rules and etiquette when visiting. Also remember, to avoid extensive damage, trails may be open to foot traffic only during freeze/thaw conditions. To learn the status of our trails before you visit, please call the park info hotline at 636-707-0011 or view the updates on our website at www.stccparks.org.

St. Charles County is part of the greenway network.

Citizen Input Needed

The St. Charles County Parks and Recreation Department is helping spread the word -  Great Rivers Greenway (GRG) needs YOUR input! In an effort to update their strategic plan, GRG is asking citizens to take an online survey before March 14. The GRG network connects people to parks, rivers and communities throughout St. Charles County, St. Louis County, and St. Louis City. The organization wants to hear about the greenway experiences of citizens to date and how they may want to volunteer or get involved in the future. Please pass the survey link and info on to your network!
