1. How do I get to your office?

The Election Authority is located off I-70 and Highway 79 at 397 Turner Blvd., St. Peters, MO 63376.

Exit off I-70 and head north on Highway 79.
Get in the right lane and bear right onto the North Outer Road exit.
Go straight at the stop sign, crossing over the North Outer Road.
You will be on Turner Boulevard. The Election Authority is in the second building on the right.

2. What your hours of operation?: Election Authority office hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Monday-Friday.

3. What do I do if I received mail from the Election Authority for someone who no longer lives at my address?: In all instances, mark mail from the St. Charles County Election Authority “not at this address” and return it (unopened). We will send a residence confirmation notice to that voter to update their record or start the removal process.

4. Why did I get a Residence Confirmation Notice (RCN)?

To ensure our voter rolls are up-to-date, the Election Authority uses information from the following sources:

United States Postal Service – Mail returned as Undeliverable or Refused
Missouri Department of Revenue – Driver’s License Data
St. Charles County Assessor & Recorder of Deeds – Conveyance of Real Property

One of these sources indicated that the voter registration information we have on file for the voter might be obsolete and needs to be updated.

If the voter no longer lives in Missouri, in the upper left of the RCN form please sign, date and return to the Election Authority.

If the voter lives in Missouri, please review the Voter Information Update Form in the lower half of the page and make any necessary changes before signing and mailing the form back to the Election Authority.

5. What is the Electoral College?: The Electoral College elects the President of the United States. The state’s number of Congressional and Senatorial seats determines the number of electors from each state. Visit the Electoral College website for more information.

6. What is a caucus?: A caucus is a meeting of the members of a political party to discuss issues, take policy positions, and elect party leadership, including delegates to the state and national conventions. To learn more about your caucus, contact your committee person for your chosen party.

7. How do I get a list of registered voters?: Voter registration files are public record. They may not be used for commercial purposes. To request a voter registration list, email election@sccmo.org and indicate who is requesting the file, scope of file (countywide or certain political subdivision) and the email address to send the file.

9. How can I vote absentee?: Absentee voting hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday six weeks before each election, and the Saturday prior to Election Day from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at 397 Turner Blvd., St. Peters, MO 63376.
