What happens during the booking process?
Upon arrest, an individual will be transported to the booking section of the St. Charles County Department of Corrections (SCCDOC) adult detention facility, which is located at:
300 N. 2nd St.
St. Charles, MO 63301

All personal property is collected by SCCDOC officers and inventoried for safekeeping. The inmate / detainee will receive all necessary department issued clothing and hygiene items for their stay. Additional items are available for purchase through commissary.

During the booking process, the individual will be advised of the charges against him/her and the amount of their bond, if bond has been set.

During the intake process, inmates / detainees are assessed by medical staff to identify any medical and/or mental health concerns.
