I have a lot of books at home that I’ve finished reading. Can I donate those books to the jail?
Yes. The St. Charles County Department of Corrections (SCCDOC) gladly accepts paperback book and magazine donations. Donations made in an inmate’s / detainee’s name cannot be accepted.

It is strongly recommended that prior to donating any books or magazines that the donor removes any labels or indication of names, telephone numbers or addresses that might give rise to future unwanted communications with an inmate / detainee.
