The assessment form must be filed by March 1 every year. This process needs to be completed annually to keep your personal property account active. Penalty(s) range up to $105 for filing late based on the assessed value. If you are moving out of St. Charles County, it is your responsibility to notify both your old and new Assessment Authority. Users completing an amended filing do not need to list personal property included on their initial filing.
If you are completing this form for the 2022 tax year and are a St. Charles County resident as of Jan. 1, 2023, please return to this page and complete a 2023 assessment form to ensure your records are up to date with the Assessor’s Office.
