    In times of need, many lend their neighbors a helping hand. St. Charles County's Medical Reserve Corps is a volunteer-based unit or medically trained and non-medical professionals alike who put their knowledge and skills to use in helping our community. The Department of Public Health sponsors the local MRC unit. Monthly meetings are designed to prepare members for all-hazard emergencies. Discussions include the various roles within the County's emergency response plan, hands-on training opportunities and advanced certifications. Membership is open to any individual, ages 18 or older.

  2. CLOCK HOUR CLASS - Communicable Disease in Childcare

    January 30, 2020, 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Public Health

    Child Care providers will become familiar with common diseases that are transmitted among children, how to identify them, and how to prevent or control their spread. This course is a longer version of a 1.0 hour training that allows for more discussion of current emerging infectious diseases and questions from participants.

    Successful completion of this class will earn the attendee 2 Clock Hour credits.

    Per Missouri Department of Health guidelines, children ages 16 and under are not allowed to attend this training.
